"Peace is the most powerful weapon of mankind. It takes more courage to take a blow than to give one." ~ Mahatma Gandhi.
Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated in MAPS to mark 150 birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Prosperity House students conducted a special assembly. The assembly was embarked upon by two anchors Anshika Sharma and Unnati who beautifully reflected on Gandhi Ji his unforgettable contributions and struggle for the freedom of India. Further  school choir recited a song which infused a feeling of positivity and inspired the listeners to lay foundation of positive change, serve self and humanity at large, uphold the values of unity, brotherhood, harmony, tolerance ....  students of classes  VI and VIII performed a fascinating dance on peace and swacchta, it was followed by a rally , students  addressed to uphold the values of Gandhi Ji and highlighted the need to make country clean and green for the sustenance of all .
The programme concluded by the homage paid to Gandhi Ji by all the teachers and students of the school.

Theme- Greatness of a culture can be found in its festivals

The students of Equality house presented their assembly on the theme- " The greatness of a culture can be found in its festivals". The students started with introduction of the theme by sharing some important points about the different festivals celebrated in our country. Poem recitation group then presented a poem about the rich culture and heritage of our country. They used actions and voice modulation for a better impact. The next group presented a culture walk where 5 festivals and their importance was shared through dance, music and narration. Students shared the reasons of celebrating these festivals and their relationship with the culture and practices followed by the people of our country. A speech was also shared where the students talked about regional, religious and national festivals. The students of class 1 and 2 presented a dance performance celebrating the diversity of our culture and people. The assembly was concluded by the house master who shared some points about the importance of culture and festivals and invited the students to share what they had learnt from the assembly.
