MISLEADING MEDIA

The objective of the Inter House Activity was to shape the talent of students and bring out the best in them, nurture their skills and create awareness about Mass media. Participants of different houses laid stress on the role of media and its impact on common man, and how it misleads at the same time. . All performers through enactments laid stress on the rationale behind advertising: to update the consumers regarding a particular product and its availability in the market and to generate demand for new products by attracting the interests of public towards it, advertisements erect an image which they desire of creating in the minds of common masses. In reality, they cheat and mislead common man with false promises and false guaranteed results.

Event was Not only informative but also interesting and novel. Presentations of all houses were appreciated and applauded. FRATERNITY HOUSE BAGGED FIRST POSITION, PURITY HOUSE SECOND AND AUSTERITY AND EQUALITY HOUSE GOT THIRD POSITION.
